History
Our subsidiaries Stift Projektmanagement GmbH & Co. KG and Manufortis Construction GmbH are among the most traditional construction companies in the capital and, as part of the Heftol Group, reliably carry out our general contractor, renovation and modernisation work. The parent company was founded by Paul Stift in 1950 and had up to 350 skilled craftsmen, including over 150 plasterers. In 1980, the PAUL STIFT company was transformed into Stift Stuck, Putz und Rabitz GmbH and taken over by his sons Jürgen Stift and Detlef Stift. In 2002, Stift Bauausführungen GmbH was founded, which was managed by Mr Stefan Stift and integrated into the Heftol Group in 2017. In 2018, the so-called general contractor Manufortis Construction GmbH was founded. From planning to handing over the keys, from complete finishing to filigree stucco repairs - the construction experts from our group of companies, led by Mr. Stefan Stift, have had a renowned expertise for generations.

In Berlin in particular, the Stift company was significantly involved in striking and important buildings that still shape the cityscape in a special way today. These include the first Hilton Hotel Group building to open in Germany, the Berlin Philharmonic Hall built under Hans Scharoun and one of the city's landmarks, the Europa Center, as well as other references listed below.

PHILOSOPHY
RECOGNIZE POTENTIAL. DEVELOP VISIONS. CREATING MORE VALUE..
How does one revive centuries old sleeping beauties and create lasting value? How can old buildings, steeped in history, be given a new purpose with style? And how can one guarantee a unique, modern and urban lifestyle?

By keeping an eye on the bigger picture, recognizing the potential of a property, a district and the neighborhood, with an expert eye and then developing a vision. And: By implementing these ideas with passion and the professionalism that comes of many years of experience.

Manufortis Construction GmbH
The building culture of the three generations of Stift-engineers ensures that every project is carried out with the utmost care and perfectionism. The tradition is therefore passed down from generation to generation to continue the company's rich tradition. Magnificent, award-winning buildings such as the German Dome Gendarmenmarkt or the Nikolaisaal in Potsdam are testimony to the craftsmanship.
